Our phased, site-by-site approach allows a gradual and smooth implementation of information systems without requiring complete systems replacement, minimizing business disruption and controlling implementation costs.

The major steps of AIM are as follows:

Step 1: Project Steering Committee Formation & Implementation Planning

• Confirm customers / Apex-Pro resources plan and form project steering committee
• Establish customer / Apex-Pro project management & change control processes
• Review and examine all background information and documentation
• Confirm the business objectives for the project
• Develop Apex-Pro SCM System implementation plan

Step 2: Apex-Pro SCM System Definition to Requirements (Business & Data Mapping)

• Customer team members given Apex-Pro SCM System first level education and training
• Business requirements, both present and future, and workflow are reviewed and mapped to Apex-Pro SCM System functionality and to be followed by gap analysis
• Customer team designs, develops and refines new business processes where required
• Map legacy system(s) data to Apex-Pro SCM System data schema
• Customization requirements to Apex-Pro SCM System functionality are identified for development

Step 3: Customization & Interfaces

• Develop print forms and custom reports
• Develop prototype for customization requirements identified in gap analysis
• Start development upon customer teams confirmation on prototype
• QA and testing
• Identify interfaces requirements to legacy system(s) and third-party systems
• Interface data mapping to Apex-Pro standard API

Step 4: Integration Test and UAT

• Apex-Pro to conduct an integration test for entire solution
• Validate all solution deliverables
• Select and train user team to conduct the user acceptance testing
• Validate the Apex-Pro SCM System fits the business requirements and can be used to run the business
• Make any required last minute, minor changes
• Confirm the go-live date

Step 5: User Training

• Deliver user procedures and documents for training
• Deliver training to Trainer who will be responsible for training the user community
• Deliver training to the user community

Step 6: Conversion, Cut-Over and Live Run

• A production environment for new system is initialized
• All data is converted and loaded into Apex-Pro SCM System
• The team executes the detail conversion schedule with all validation steps to assure complete and correct data is loaded
• When conversion is complete the new system is ready for production use
